Tips for writing better C# code

Introduction and Background

I have been a C# programmer for more than 4 years and have seen it change from C# 5 to C# 6. C# got evolved but most of the programmers have not yet evovled to follow the best standard based practices for their projects to make them more readable.
The basic idea of this post is to allow you to be able to write good projects in case of your open source C# projects and, and .NET framework applications that run in a team environment. In such cases, writing a good code can be a plus point for the developers because the code being written is going to be used, managed and updated by the rest of the developers who are going to follow the philosophy and coding practices of that team ground.
